What is a "Casa del Habano"?

La Casa del Habano is a franchise brand of Habanos SA, the Cuban state trading company, that sells worldwide the cigars from Cuba.
The Casas are specialized retail stores with a mandate to be the showcase of the Cuban cigar production. This order is in accordance with the Habanos SA conditions, which ensure that only the best shops may occur worldwide as franchisees.
In return the Casas will be favored supplied from Cuba and receive special cigars and humidors, which are only sold there.The first Casa del Habano in 1990 in Cancun, Mexico was opened.
Since then, the world joined a hundred Casas. Special value is in the Casa to convey the culture of Cuban cigars and Cuba, along with events surrounding the Cuban cigar.
Casas must have a bar and at least two sales areas.
Walk-in humidors and customer-deposit boxes are also included. Logo and advertising of the Casas are everywhere in the sense of a unified "corporate identity" given.
